I am a mom of four who always thought she would be a mom of none.  Publicly educated, I was privileged to attend the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology.  There I learned how to research, learned how to learn, and learned how to pull all-nighters.  I thought that I would put this education to use for large money making (usually high technology)ventures…and I went down that path for awhile, but then I had my daughter and everything changed.  I wanted to know how she ticked. I wanted to learn how all kids tick.  My interests rapidly changed from technology, to all things education.  A few years later, here I am: a professional tutor and parent educator.  My blog reflects my musings, my research, and my general experience going with the flow (four kids now) as I learn and apply what I know.
